Can the county outline alternatives in connection with waste management and handling hazardous waste?
The Cirkont group of companies can give answers for these problems, which describes the most up-to-date technical solutions of the county by its activity.
The Cirkont Zrt. was established as a sole proprietorship in the summer of 1992. The main object of the company is waste management within cleaning service. Since our establishment we have been taking part in collecting and disposal of municipal waste in Miskolc and 30 surrounding villages, approximately 100 thousand inhabitants and hundreds of public facilities, and institutions.
We meet our engagements by long-term contracts in Miskolc mainly with share houses and housing cooperatives, and in the villages with the local governments.
In 1993, we have established a company with the Local Government of Kazincbarcika City, the Északmagyarországi Hulladékgazdálkodási ZRt (ÉHG ZRt., Waste Management cPlc of North Hungary in English), in which we have 78.9% controlling interest. The company deals with collection and handling of municipal waste, and eventual location of hazardous waste. This company ensures the waste management of Kazincbarcika and 33 surrounding villages, which mean approximately 100 thousand inhabitants. In 1997, the ÉHG ZRt opened the most up-to-date regional, municipal waste disposal site in Sajókaza. It gives an opportunity to solve our partners’ problems in connection with waste disposal for 50-60 years in those kinds of services where waste disposal causes problems. The waste of the vicinity of Miskolc and Ózd can be transported to the dump of Sajókaza.
In 2004, we established a company together with the local government of Ózd, its name is Ózdi Hulladékgazdálkodási Kft (ÓHG Kft., Waste Management Ltd of Ózd in English) to carry out the duties of the waste treatment in the area.
In our group of companies, the waste collection is done by modern machines, which are special vehicles. They are proper for depleting every standard dust-bin from 0.11 m3 trash to the 32 m3 container. With these it is achievable for our clients to get our high standard service at an affordable price, despite the economic difficulties.

The country that cannot suit the requirements, will be left alone. It has to face alone the economic problems, the unemployment, and the impoverishment.
It is not that The Cirkont ZRt. is interested in. It is interested in being at its clients’ disposal by using the most up-to-date technological achievements, supporting the development of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County.
