Location of Recycling Bins Selective waste collection is the process, when we collect the waste according to their type.
For its effectiveness it is worth choosing waste that is created in large amount. Considering the content of the waste, it is useful to introduce the collection of the next fractions:
- paper wastes
- plastic wastes
- glass wastes
- metal wastes
The object of selective waste collection is to facilitate the recyclability of the waste, and to reduce the amount of waste that’s disposal can happen only by discharge. When those types of waste are in the rubbish bin that are signed on it, it is optimal It is important to note that the selectively collected waste should be through out a sin its original state.
It means that the dirt should be removed (clean the bottles, remove the label, wash the food packaging material). If it is not possible (e.g. dirty pieces of paper), it is to put in the mixed domestic waste.
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO COLLECT HAZARDOUS WASTE OR MATERIALS THAT IS POLLUTED WITH HARADOUS WASTE IN THESE SYSTEMS!
After it, the selectively collected waste goes through a cleaning and selecting process. At that time the waste is clean enough to be processed and recycled. The materials produced this way is called secondary raw material. One must collect separately the next wastes:
